1. Build a Visualization Map

Visualization is a very powerful tool that can be used to manifest your dreams into reality. But it’s also a journey and like any journey, it begins somewhere. When you are starting something you first have to visualize your end objective. The best method to do that is to draw out a map. Be aware that I’m not talking about a memory map. We will be talking about that in a different article. Currently, I am talking about what we call a Visualization Map.
Don’t worry, it’s nothing complicated. To avoid confusion, even if you have a lot of things in your mind that you want to achieve, you need to begin with a generic and all-encompassing goal. After that, you have to imagine that goal inside your visualization map. To give an example if you want to be a successful writer imagine yourself getting a Pulitzer prize, getting a Nobel prize in literature, or maybe something like seeing your name in your country’s bestseller.
Be sure to make your initial goal as ambitious as you can. The platform that you have visualized in form of a commendation or with you receiving an award, will be the end product of our visualization map. Then and only then do we move to the next step.
2. Get Deeper
After building a solid platform with the visualization map you need to move forward and fill the map with details. You might have heard that devil is in the details. I beg to differ. Not only the devil but the energy to defeat the devil is also in the details.

In the simplest of terms Get Deeper involves getting specific about your objectives. If you want to be a best seller author, how many books do you want to sell? What are you writing about and what is the theme of your literary piece? If you want to be a cricketer which team do you want to play for? Are you a left-handed batsman or are you right-handed?

Just to be clear it doesn’t mean that you have to restart your career. It means you have to visualize yourself in the field playing as you can or better yet as you want to play. Imagine yourself hitting the perfect six or taking a hat-trick and spinning the ball so sleek the audiences are flabbergasted. The moment you have a clear picture of what you want to be doing to achieve your dreams is the moment you need to move towards manifesting your dreams. So before moving forward make the picture crystal clear in your mind.
3. Make a List of Goals
In the great Hindu epic Mahabharat, there is an instance when several archers are told by their teacher to shoot at the eye of a bird. When they aim, the teacher goes on to ask each of them what they see. Some said they saw the bird, some described the branch it was sitting on, and some were focused on the leaves. Only one of them said he saw the eye of the bird and nothing else. That small boy Arjun went on to become the greatest archer the world had seen.
What did we learn from this story?
Now that you have gone deep into the intricate details of what you want to achieve, the next step is to create a list of goals. Your end objective is one but the steps needed to reach there are many. The list will contain the specific and tangible objectives that you will have to cross to reach your goal. The quality of tangibility is very important here. In this world of technology, we are used to noting down our feelings and emotions in digital tools and then putting them away forever far from our reach. The energy we invest in them gets lost and ends up in a lonely server somewhere.

Hence, you need to make your goals tangible. Write them in a notebook or diary. Make sticky notes and keep them somewhere you’ll notice frequently. Even if you don’t acknowledge them consciously, your body and the energy inside will unconsciously adjust when it sees them regularly. So remember, keeping a pictorial representation of your goals is as important as the goals themselves.
4. Motivate yourself (Loudly)
DO IT NOW!
If you can’t motivate yourself who else can you motivate?
This is something I have lived with my whole life and I think you should too. When you’re working towards a dream, you can’t expect motivation from any outward source simply because that source may perish and/or deplete. However, when you derive your motivation from a source so deep inside you, it can’t even be touched by sunlight you’ve hit the jackpot.

Having said that, you might think it stupid or even weird to acknowledge and motivate yourself loudly. But it is highly essential and highly infectious, believe me. Talking loudly is not only for your conscious mind’s benefit; it is also for your subconscious and unconscious mind. When you motivate yourself not in thoughts but speech, it gets registered by every nook and cranny of your body as well as by the energy that you have been assimilating ever since you were born.
After all, it’s beneficial to remind your guardian angel every now and then what you desire. Even if you don’t believe in all the spiritual benefits you can’t deny that telling yourself at least 3 or 4 times a day that you’re going to achieve your dream, doesn’t only instill confidence inside you but also reminds you of what your goal is and how you’re going to achieve it.
5. Manifest the Energy
So far we have made a visualization map, established our goal and specific objectives, and motivated ourselves.
So what remains?
What remains is the best and most enjoyable part of our 6 step journey. After you’ve built a deep reservoir of untapped energy for you to bank upon, the next step is to utilize that energy to proceed towards your goal.

Energy is a very tricky thing. One wrong step and you lose it all. So keep in mind that every ounce of energy that you’ve earned, you need to manifest towards reaching your holy grail. Be sure to never waste your energy. Dealing with problems that are not your own, worrying about things that are not related to your objective, and getting into useless debates about topics that you aren’t passionate about; are a few things that you can do to waste the valuable energy you’ve garnered.
While not wasting your hard-earned energy is quite important it is also highly crucial to invest it in activities that can take you closer to your goal. With every drop of ink and every brush of stroke, you are not only letting out your art but also giving an outlet to the energy that you have earned after spending so much time and effort. While doing your work remember that not only your family, friends, and loved ones support you but also the energy that you have conserved over so many months and years.
So, don’t waste your energy, take action, and finally, take charge of your destiny.
6. Reinforce Your Belief
After setting up a grid for your energy to manifest, make sure you reinforce your belief again and again. You need to keep investing your energy into that grid so that from a small ball it becomes a humongous star emitting constant manifested energy. It’ll not only help you to realize your dream but also keep you energetic and joyous. Keep in mind that while you do the work to make your dream come true, you also need to keep on strengthening and re-strengthening the belief that you’re going to achieve what you desire.

Even if you don’t believe in the Law of Attraction, Energy Manifestation, or the spiritual reasons behind it, reminding yourself that you’ll be able to achieve your dream is highly essential. It doesn’t take much of your time or effort but it gives manifold in return. Remember that even before stepping in the ring, if you develop a belief that you won’t win, then you’ll surely fail. On the other hand, if you make it a habit to remind yourself that you’ve got what it takes and you are putting all the efforts to back that belief up, there is nothing in this world that can stop you from achieving your goal.
